Step 2: Adoption Profile

An adoption profile is a 20 page booklet that gets given to birth moms and birth families. They look through a handful of these booklets to get a feel for who the adoptive family candidates are, and what kind of home and community they are offering to their child. This is the main piece of data birth moms use to determine who will parent their child which means they are an extremely important piece of the process.

We are extremely happy with how our booklet turned out! Because the creative work is someone else’s, we are not able to share the content on our web page. We would be glad, however, to show it to you in person! Thank you to Susan, our designer. Thank you to our dear friend RIck for our beautiful professional photos. As you see the photos on our page you may think they look natural, but I promise he had to tell one of us (not mentioning names on purpose here) how to stand, how much to turn our head and what to do with our hands in nearly every photo. Not an easy task. Shout out to our friend Whitney for helping edit the content in our booklet to make it more approachable and interesting.
